Your First Colonic

A letter from Cori:

During my first colon hydrotherapy session (colonic), I was very apprehensive and it took everything for me to get to my appointment. I began to think of excuses so that I wouldn’t have to go, but I pushed through the excuses and made my appointment. When I arrived, my nerves didn't subside. I was so nervous that I now began to think of ways to leave.

Soon I began talking with the therapist about the procedure and I started to relax, but the real anxiety now came from the rectal tube insertion. I didn't think I would be able to do it. Once I was in the room all by myself, I noticed that the rectal tube was quite small, but I was still nervous. I got on the table and inserted the tube and it didn't hurt at all...actually, I barely felt it...fewwww!

When the water was turned on, I noticed that it felt just like diarrhea. The most uncomfortable part was when gas pains started to move, but of course, when I released, I felt much better. Sometimes I got the sweats and/or chills as things began to move, but again I felt much better when I released it all. After my session, I felt so much better, lighter and cleaner. My head even felt clearer. It's weird to think that a clogged colon has such a direct effect on my entire body.

After this session, I knew I needed to learn so much more, so I began my research into digestion and natural health.

I wanted to let you know about my experience so that if you begin to have any of these feelings, I did too...it is completely normal. I understand that without ever experiencing a colonic, it can be scary. I will do my best to help lower any of your anxieties by answering any questions that you may have. Your first appointment:

Approximately 2 Hours

As soon as you arrive you will be greeted by our lovely office assistants. They will give you a health questionnaire to fill out. This will take you about 10 minutes. After that you will be lead into our consultation room where we will review your questionnaire and we will teach basic nutrition, how to balance and recolonize the colon and any other questions that you may have. We offer basic diet/nutrition information, nutritional supplementation, and we offer many different referrals to amazing doctors in the valley which can also assist you in obtaining your health goals. This consultation is very interesting and will last approximately 30 minutes depending on the amount of information you would like.

Once all your questions have been answered we will lead you to our colon hydrotherapy room where you will begin your treatment.

Top 3 questions I get asked:

How big is the rectal tip?

The rectal tip is the size of a pencil.

Who does the insertion of the rectal tip?

You, the client, will do the insertion (very simple).

How far does it go in?

It only goes into the client apx. 1 - 1 1/2 inches...once it is in you don't even know it's there.

What will my session be like?

Once you are on the table and comfortable you will call the therapist back into the room by pressing a button on the walkie talkie. They will come in and answer any more questions that you may have and then you will unclip the hose and your session will begin.

During your session you will have repeated fills and eliminations. When you are comfortable we will leave the room and about 10 to 15 minutes later we will come back into the room and administer different abdominal massage techniques. These massage techniques will help break up and remove old fecal material. If you are not comfortable with massage, please let us know.

At the end of your session, we will open up the table so that you can observe all that you eliminated. This will give you an idea of how your body is digesting and eliminating food.

If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment please cancel with a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment. If you do not cancel or do not show then you will be charged the for the session.
