What is colon hydrotherapy?
Some people may think that Colon Hydrotherapy is just a trend and it will come and go just like the 80's, but enemas have been practiced dating back to ancient times, as early as 1500 B.C. It actually has been recorded in an Egyptian medical document called the"Eber Papyrus".
Popularity of Colon Therapy in the United States reached its all time high in the 1920's and 30's. Colon Therapies were regularly used as a standard practice in hospitals and physicians offices until the 1950's and 60's. Knowledge and uses of colon therapies continued to dramatically decrease due to the usage of over the counter medication or prescriptions.
Colon hydrotherapy is known to clean, tone, hydrate, and re-educate the colon. It also helps to detoxify the body by cleaning out old stagnant matter from the bowel. Colon hydrotherapy can be used for people that have experienced any of these conditions:

We all know that the colon is the pathway to remove toxic waste from the body. If waste is not eliminated in a timely manner then the toxins will become trapped and eventually absorbed back into the body. When the toxins are reabsorbed into the body, the organs have a difficult time neutralizing the newly introduced toxins and the reabsorbed toxins. This overloads the organs and puts stress on the entire body, leaving room for disease. This is why it is vital to maintain a clean and healthy colon.
Most people have no idea how much old, hardened, fecal matter is lodged inside their colons. Most experts now believe that the average person has 5-20 pounds of accumulated waste in their colons. According to John Waynes autopsy, he had 40 pounds of impacted fecal material in his body at death. Elvis reportedly had 60 pounds.
If a person is looking to jump-start into a health plan to loose weight, aid in athletic conditioning, or just begin a health journey, then colon hydrotherapy is a great way to begin.
One can start with colon hydrotherapy sessions to cleanse the colon of toxic material, exercise the muscles, reshape the colon, and stimulate reflex points. Once one has started colon hydrotherapy sessions, then they can begin to look at other specific cleanses i.e.; liver cleanse, kidney cleanse and or diet programs.
Colon hydrotherapy is not a cure all, but it is fantastic addition to health programs.
