Toxicity in the Body |

|
Have you ever asked yourself, 'why do I feel so bad all the time??? ' Well, I think I might have some answers for you.
Everyone is constantly coming in contact with toxins; air (i.e. carbon dioxide, cigarette smoke), furniture (treated with fire resistant chemicals), and food (grain fed animals, farm raised fish, caged chickens, animals with hormones and/or antibiotics, etc).
Everyday our bodies have to process these toxins and try to eliminate them. If our bowels become sluggish or constipated then these toxins get stuck in the stool are very likely to be absorbed again putting extra stress on the liver and other organs.
Constipation is an important symptom to really focus on.
Constipation refers to infrequent (a little here and a little there, or days go by) or hard stool that are difficult to eliminate. Ideally, the bowel should be eliminated after every meal and the stool should be approximately 10 -12 inches long, each time. If you are not eliminating at this rate then you are showing signs of constipation or slow transit rate.
When fecal material does not eliminate normally bad bacteria begins to multiply weakening the lining of the intestines. Literally the bacteria eats the food that has not been broken down and then poops. Their poop is very toxic for us, but great for them, so they begin to multiply and take over. This process causes extra fermentation (gas, bloating, constipation, fatigue after eating, smelly eliminations etc.) and like I said before it weakens the lining of the intestines. When the intestines becomes weak the toxins from our bowels will be reabsorbed into the body through the weakened intestinal lining, move into the bloodstream and then back up to the liver. This process is called autointoxification.
This is why it is so important for us to have healthy bowels. As some say 'Death begins in the colon'.
The liver is another important organ. It is constantly trying to neutralize and eliminate the everyday toxins and when toxins are reabsorbed and sent back to the liver then the liver becomes overworked and begins to release toxins into tissues throughout the body. The overflow of toxins will move to weak spots of the body and they will begin to build.
According to Jordan Rubin N.M.D, when are bodies become over toxified we may start to experience, red flag symptoms like:
|
|
As soon as we begin to experience one or more of these conditions, it is important to reflect on it and choose how to heal it. If someone decides to take a prescription for it (I believe it is important in some cases) then the prescription only takes care of the surfaced problem. Its important to understand the underlining problem. Is it physical (what came in contact with) or emotional (past trauma)? By getting to the root cause will help aide the healing process.
If the symptom is not treated appropriately, then the toxins will continue to build and build. Therefore, if the toxins are not eliminated, and it will continue to build up leading to chronic conditions and/or death. Everybodys body is so unique chemically and genetically that there is no prediction for doctors or practitioner to know where your week spot is or where it will be. Only you will be able to tell. Your weak spots will begin to show when your body becomes over toxified.
According to Jordan Rubin N.M.D, digestive diseases and other conditions are related to unhealthy imbalances of intestinal flora called Dysbiosis. This condition is the result of antibiotics (oral contraceptives, and steroid medications), Chlorine (from water), excessive stress, alcohol, regular drinking of carbonated drinks, over the counter drugs, and more. Once we consume one or more of these items then over time the intestinal track will be wiped out of the entire gastrointestinal flora. Once this happens then the bad bacteria and good bacterial fight to take over the colony. Most of the time the bad bacteria will win due to the foods we choose to eat (fried foods, breads, pastas, sugars). Most of the time when we are not feeling well we will get a craving for these foods. This is actually the slow die off of bad intestinal flora. They will send us the signal to eat the danger foods i.e. sweats, French fries, soda, pasta, cookies, ice cream, bread, frozen prepared meals. There is a whole list of dangerous foods. For more information see Dr. Jordan Rubin's book, " Patient Heal Thyself".
When we begin to have these cravings, it is a sign that the bad bacteria is dying and they are sending messages that they need food to continue to live. When the bad bacteria receive these foods they feed off of them and they begin to multiply and fill the intestines.
This re-colonization is the beginning of disease. It immediately creates gastrointestinal distress and we begin to see different signs, more food cravings, irritability, anxiety, depression, headaches (migraines), Candida, (yeast like fungus), allergies, bloating, insomnia, heartburn, constipation and diarrhea. Over time the overgrowth of bad bacteria begins to weaken the walls leaving room for malabsorption, IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, leaky gut syndrome, wasting disease, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids and/or cancer of the breast or colon. In order to restore your health one must increase the good bacteria and lower the bad bacteria. Dr. Jordan Rubin, believes that one must restore their connection to the soil too. He has done much research and has seen results in many people that by adding MSOs (micro soil organisms), good bacteria and limiting, if not eliminating, the targeted bad bacteria feeders he began to see remarkable results. If you would like more information about the benefits and research he has done, please read either of his books, "Patient Heal Thyself" and "The Makers Diet".
I really do believe in his stuff, because personally I have tried his product called Fungal Defense and it is working. I am feeling a thousand times better. That will be my next page. My story from past to present. My recovery story.
